Peer Review Process
The Peninsular Economist (A Peer-Reviewed Journal) follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure a transparent, and unbiased evaluation of all submitted manuscripts in the Association of Economists of Tamil Nadu Annual Conference.

Initial Screening of Manuscripts
The reviewer committee, review all manuscripts submitted to Association of Economists of Tamil Nadu Annual Conference to ensure they adhere to the journal's plagiarism policy, formatting requirements, submission rules, and scope.

Anonymization of Manuscripts
Before submitting the manuscript, authors must delete all identifying information in order to preserve the integrity of the double-blind review process. Before sending the article for evaluation, the editing team makes sure it has been fully anonymized.

Selection of Manuscripts by Reviewer
Submitted manuscripts in the conference are assigned to expert reviewers with relevant subject knowledge and research experience. Reviewers are selected based on their academic expertise, publication record, and familiarity with the manuscript’s subject area.

Review and Evaluation
Reviewers critically evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
- Ethical standards and academic rigor
- Originality and contribution to knowledge
- Research methodology and data analysis
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
- Clarity, structure, and presentation

Recommendations by Reviewer
Based on their evaluation, reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:

Editorial Decision and Communication
Based on the editorial board reviews the reviewer recommendations and makes a preliminary decision. All editorial decisions and reviewer comments are communicated to the authors anonymously.

Revision and Re-evaluation
The manuscript must be revised by the authors in response to reviewer feedback. If necessary, revised articles may be sent back to the original reviewers for additional assessment.

Final Decision
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Board.

Ethics and Confidentiality
Throughout the review process, all editors and reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and uphold strict confidentiality.
